Training with Kuri

The gym was pretty much empty as it's already late. Somewhere in the corner, Kido was doing some training with the punching bag. Being uncomfortable in the middle of people made him schedule his training around this hour. Today he's not really in the mood for doing anything serious, though. The thin figured boy were doing some half assed punches and kicks to the punching bag, without any expression on his face.

Thinking that no one else's around, he took a step back from the punching bag, took a deep breath. The boy then spun around and smashed his right foot at the punching bag, sending it swinging around wildly.

"Whew, not bad, I guess," said Kido as he observed the impact of his kick.

Kuri was tired, it had been an eventful night, and she wanted to unload some steam, so she headed to the gym. She got there and it was almost empty, but there was a boy in the corner who did some average looking punches and kicks, she was about to disregard him, when all of a sudden he spun and smashed his foot into the punching bag. She stop and whistled "Wooo nice one! Not too bad at all!" she started as she walked over, to find out who he was.

As soon as he heard the whistle and a woman's voice, Kido froze in the place with an expression that resembled someone who just got caught doing something bad. He didn't think that anyone would be around at this hour. He slowly turned around to find a tall and very... busty girl wearing some revealing outfit. The boy tried to maintain his cool and looked at her with his usual, dry expression.

"Err, it's nothing," he said.

Kuri was a little surprised at his sudden freezing when she called out to him, that usually only happened after they saw her. Chuckling at the thought, she looked patiently as he turned around slowly, and she saw he had a strangely dry expression on his face, hiding any emotions he might be feeling.
"Uh, hi! Im Kuri, sorry if i startled you, but that kick was pretty good" she said, slightly unnerved by the expressionless face.

"Oh, n-no problem," said Kido as he gazed away so he wouldn't be distracted by her bust. "The name's Kido, by the way," he said as he looked at her face with his dry expression again. "Satoru Kido."

The boy went silent for a bit after introducing himself. He'd unconsciously fidgeting around a bit, a sign of nervousness. Socializing was like the one of the things he didn't really enjoy, and a meeting with such a sexy stranger like her was like a whole different level of difficulty.

"Um, so...you're here for training too?" he asked.

"Oh, ok good!" Kuri said, and she sighed quietly as he finally displayed a little emotion, by turning his head and stuttering a bit. "Nice to meet you!" she'd respond to him, as she giggled a little at his fidgeting. "Well yes I am going to be training a little bit, mostly some wrestling moves, what are your training for?" she asked, genuinely curious.

"Well, I..." He paused since he didn't really think about a real training today. "...just killing my boredom actually. And I'm about done so..."

Despite his expressionless face and cool attitude, Kido actually felt so uncomfortable that he was thinking about leaving the gym and return to his room. Still, he'd feel bad if he just left her like that since she's actually kinda nice and friendly.

"So you were just here for fun then? Thats good, not many people can do that." She said, surprised at his response. "Oh..ok, i guess thats ok then..." she started, quite disappointed that he was going to leave. "Wait a minute!" she yelled in revelation as she remembered where she had seen him. "Your that new kid right? you just joined Tension right? No way!" She would continue proud that she had remembered his face on the roster.

"Y-yeah," he replied. "See ya around". With that he began to walk away towards the gym's exit.

Kido thought that he's about to get out from this uncomfortable situation as soon as possible. He couldn't be more wrong. Suddenly the woman called him, which made him stopped his steps and turned around.

"That might be me," he said with his dry look. "What about it?"

"Awesome!" she said, tonight was getting better and better. She looked him over, upon second inspection, she could she him as a good fighter, and he didnt look half bad to boot! She would walk over to him, "Im actually in AFW as well! I'm in Friction, but I'm always looking for a fun fight! How bout we go spar a little?" Kuri said in a demanding voice, not really asking for his permission, she would reach to grab his arm and pull him towards the ring in the gym.
