John didn't know where he was right now, where he landed or anything. He was out of it, that was the only redeemable thing about this. But he'd probably feel it when he woke up, and realise that victory had been so close for his team. Only to have it denied at the end, the term fall from grace couldn't have been anymore literal in this instance. It was probably the worst thing that had happened to the master of creation in his time thus far in the squared circle, and it also came at the worst possible time. John was simply an unmoving heap aside from the breathing that he did, a good sign at least.

Ryan had started to come to, he had been left alone enough to at least let him develop some semblance of being awake. Every inch of him was screaming in pain, breathing and let alone moving was extremely difficult. The paragon of Britain still crawled slowly, with one arm as he witnesses what was going on. In futility Mr Knight extended his arm out, though with the state of both the British wrestlers nothing was going to amount from this.

Sion pulled the belts down, the bell loudly rung several times.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN YOUR WINNERS! AND NEW TENSION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! WHITEGALE!!!!"

Ryan groaned quietly, his head falling to the mat. The UK Elite were defeated in this battle, this proved that Sion and Daisuke were the rightful champions. It had been settled, was Ryan angry? No, this was the UK Elite's idea. And regardless of what occurred a winner would be declared. The better team won, the young man simply remained where he was. At least the debate was over. Mr Knight would congratulate Sion and Dai if able, the young man had no personal ire against them after all. But he was battered beyond belief, John he wasn't sure of what happened.

Still, it was a good title reign. As far as the records would state, the UK Elite were undefeated. To the end, and that was something to be proud of. Perhaps this fact was why Ryan had a little smile on his face, and him and John had led a new time in Tension. Where tag teaming had been relevant once again.

With the sound of the bell and result announcement, the ladies on the outside hugged each other with glee before quickly joining the others inside the ring, entering just as Sion came down from the ladder with both belts in hands. He immediately went to. Daisuke's side and lifted her up so she would be in a seated position. The mess that was on her face wasn't a pleasant one, however that didn't matter to Sion at this moment, for she was still responsive and the match ended in their favour. Sion handed her one of the belts to Dai as she sat there. As she looked at it, trying to get some strength back into her to form a proper response, Lina spoke to her. "This is you victory as much as it is his, as it is all of ours."

Lina did have a point there. Even though Sion was the one who pulled the belts down to end the match it wasn't a solo effort. Through all the ups and downs, not just in this match, but previous ones, and in life, they were their for each other. She's made a number of mistakes in her time, some that made her re-think being an active wrestler. Some of her choices, while not necessarily wrong, did end up taking more out of her than she was hoping for as one can clearly see evidently on her face. She did however do a lot of good as well. Moments ago when she was laying face down, part of her wanted to beat herself up, feeling that she let everyone down. Lina's choice of words made her understand that Sion didn't bail them out, they each did their part.

With the belt resting in her lap she finally was able to grab hold of it. After giving it a deep look she looked at the others before beginning to stand up. It looked a bit labored but just before she got upright she jumped the rest of the way. Holding the belt high and letting out a "Yeeeaaaahh!" The reaction caught them a bit by surprised but they were glad Dai could take in the win with the rest of them. After processing everything while she was sitting on the canvas she felt like she was just hit with an adrenaline rush. The positivity of those around her helped her be able to join the fun. The others could tell the moment was all that was keeping her standing right now and when the crash happens they'd have to be there to catch her. But for now they could enjoy the moment. It wasn't an easy task to get to this moment for not only did the now former champions give them a lot of trouble along the way they also had some internal to deal with. It required a lot of effort but they got through it all, and they did so together.

It would have happened right after the bell sounded but given how Daisuke was there was a delay with the referee being able to get to both Dai and Sion and raise their arms up to signal their victory. Once that was done they each took to a corner to hold up their newly won championship belts. They expected the result to be mixed as fans from both sides were clearly into it and wanting their team to win. At least their fans would go home happy. They couldn't tell if all of the UKE fans were booing them or if some ending up applauding their effort as there was a lot of crowd noise and to pick out what everyone is saying would be difficult. Besides they knew it wasn't a popularity contest so if some didn't like the result that was okay with them.

After they each took two corners, getting all four between them, Sion and Daisuke joined Lita and Lina in the middle of the ring and took part in a group hug. It was short but meaningful. Lina and Lita broke off and gave the new champions some space as the two continued to hold on to each other. While they are close Sion asks her "How do you feel?" It took Daisuke a few seconds to respond but when she did it was something Sion welcomed. "No regrets. None whatsoever." Being down on the canvas how she was earlier part of her felt like she failed and let everyone down, including herself. When she sat with the belt however she understood her feelings and words Kelly spoke to her many years ago for the first time and a number of times since came to mind. While not word for word she understood that even with the negatives there are positives, plus how you deal with the bad is just as important as getting the good moments. If she didn't believe those words she would not be here today. She knows she still has things she needs to improve on, one's training in this sport is never done. For if you feel you know everything then you are done. While part of her wished some of her negative moments and qualities she could get rid of they helped her grow. She did know going into this that they would both soon experience the phrase 'It's harder to hold onto a championship than it is to win it.' That test would have to wait, for now she earned this moment...correction, both of them have.

Sion's path wasn't as detailed as hers, though it wasn't easy. Having issues involving some bad luck and some of Lina's issues giving him a trip to the hospital one day, part of him was glad he went through that. It surely wasn't something one would learn at wrestling school, yet he and the others got through it together. As they held on to each other they stayed silent after Daisuke responded to his question, and him giving a slight "Same here." When they pulled back Daisuke ran her arm across her face before planting a lip-lock on Sion. She was happy, clearly happy. Lina saw this and smirked. She gave them a few seconds before breaking it up, jokingly telling them to "Get a room." They both stuck their tongues out Lina with humour. Lita just smiled at the sight before grabbing hold of Daisuke's arm and holding it up, as Lina soon did to Sion.

They took a final moment to play to the crowd before leaving the ring and taking their celebration backstage. In their past meetings it would be the UKE who would say some parting words before leaving them alone in the ring, but this time no words were exchanged as both Ryan and John were both out of it. Should the former champions however, decide to catch up with them later they would welcome it. But for now they were enjoying the moment. Sion held onto Daisuke as they went through the curtain, should Dai's adrenaline rush fade before they got back to the locker room.

Lucy had sat slumped in her chair, pinching the bridge of her nose with her right hand. The British girl wondered where did it all go wrong, she'd like to blame Ryan. That he let his stupid morals get the better of him, and lost the gold because of it. Still though Ms Grange admired that about her Brother, Tension was full of nasty folk. So it was good to see people who set an example about what champs should be like. At least the UK Elite were fighting champs from the start and right to the end, which was more that could be said for most.

As for the now former tag champs Ryan simply lay where he was, were the paragon of Britain in a better state he'd probably offer his congratulations to WhiteGale. After all they had proven themselves in this match, but with the battering the match had given him Ryan knew it best to just remain here for now. Let them have their moment, a courtesy that could be afforded certainly.

The young man rolled onto his back, looking up into the lights as he did so. His right hand wiping the sweat off his brow, someone would be coming to get Lucy. Ryan bribed a stage hand with some cash to go and get her out after the match, Lucy might have tried to milk the no DQ clause in this match. But Mr Knight would have had none of that, it would have been settled one way or another and the better team won. As Sion and Daisuke exited Ryan got on his knees, looking at them above the middle rope.

His gaze turned to John, crashed out in a heap. Ryan would give the man credit, he was a good right hand man. Fighting throughout the worst of it all, still the master of creation looked out of it. And sure enough some medical staff were moving in, John was getting put on a stretcher it seemed. Out of concern Ryan began to slowly get himself out the ring, when one of the staff went close to Mr Knight he simply muttered that he was fine. Ryan hadn't witnessed his friend's fall from grace, still though he certainly looked like he could use it. Wordlessly the UK Elite exited the arena, now former champions. Still when history looked back on this, it would be regarded as one of the key reasons why tag teaming had become relevant in Tension. And stay like that.
