Meeting with old friend

"Oh yes. And this jackrabbit love to jump and run all around." He smiled back to him and began slowly circling around Haru. "Question is: are you fast enough to keep the pace with me?" Ralph was keep smiling and circling around Haru, this time a little bit faster.

Keep moving faster, Ralph steped forward a little and jumped toward his oppoent. But this time wasn't drop kick, clothesline or any similar attack. He landed back down even before reaching Haru, hoping to confuse opponent and got the opening to kick straight to his thigh.

If there was one thing that Ralph definitely had an advantage over Haru in, it was runspeed. Thanks to his boxing training, Haru excelled in control of the space within one or two steps of armsreach, and he could "dance" circles around other boxers. But Ralph could duck in and out of that range unpredictably, which was part of what made him so much fun to fight.

Ralph jumped up for another high knee to the chest but Haru was ready, arms up and crossed to block it. But instead Ralph landed right away, an impressive fake-out, and targeted Haru's thigh with a kick. "Gahh" Haru yowled in pain as he dropped to one knee and swung out with a left hook, trying to nab Ralph in retaliation before he darted away again.

Ralphs trick worked great and he imidiately swinged with his leg, landing the hit on Haru's thigh. He smiled when seeing that kick was strong enough to bring him down on one knee, but Haru still managed to land a punch on the side of his body. Ralph grunted a little, rubing part of the body that just got hit and backed away as well.

But blue haired guy didn't wait for invitation. He was waiting for opponent to stand up and turn toward him. When everything was set, Ralph runed toward Haru and jumped toward him. There wasn't any trick this time - he tried to spear him, hiting his gut with a shoulder. Hopefully it will knock some air out of Haru's lungs, if attack will be successful.

"Heh" Haru chuckled and grinned as he pushed back up to his feet, even if Ralph was fast if he came into Haru's range he could still get a hold of him! Ralph ducked back behind Haru into his blindspots, so while he was getting up he spun around at the same moment to save a few precious seconds.

That seemed to be all according to Ralph's plan though, even as Haru was turning around Ralph was already midair diving towards him. The best that Haru could do in such a short time to react was to throw his elbow down as hard and fast as he could.

Haru's bony elbow slammed into the area between Ralph's shoulderblades just after Ralph's shoulder speared into his gut, knocking them both down with the force of the tackle. Haru landed hard on his back with a wheezing cough and shoved at Ralph to throw him off before he could get a mount or do anything else.

Ralph knew very well that he has to act fast and give Haru little time to react. And this worked perfectly this time, since as soon as his oppenent turned around his shoulder was already in his gut. He was satisfied with outcome of action, but everything didn't went as she hoped. Ralph was hoping that he will be able to get an upper hand in battle and this isn't happening yet.

When shoulder connected with his stomach, Haru managed to land elbow on his back. It was a nasty and quite painful blow, casing Ralph to crash down on mat together with Haru. He landed right on top of opponent, but he couldn't capitalize position because of blow in hit in his back.

Geting pushed off him, Ralph rolled away and got back on his feet. Once again, Ralph would wait for moments before Haru got completly back on his feet before going for attack. That way, blue haired guy would reach him right when he would stood up, grabing his head and trying to perform a bulldog with slaming the head down on the canvas.

After shoving Ralph away, Haru sucked in as many deep breaths as he could while he still had the time. He got up to his feet a bit slower this time, pushing up from one knee right back to his feet. The elbow strike didn't have as much oomph as Haru would have liked though.

As Haru got back up to a stand Ralph had jumped and grabbed hold of his head. His immediate reaction was to grab back at Ralph, slapping at his grip. But his head was already headed for the mat by the time he could try doing anything about it. Haru's head slammed into the ring with the full force of the bulldog, making the ring and ropes shake with the full force of his weight.

Haru's head was ringing and dizziness swarmed his vision. He made a low groan but he wasn't gonna pick himself up as quickly as before.

Ralph was waiting and flexing while waiting for Haru to get up. Since he needed more time now, he could turn around and pose a little for other wrestlers in gym. Females giggled and liked watching his shananigans, while some other guys responded with flexing by their own.

Ralph turned head around and noticed that Haru is getting up. He stoped flexining and run toward him. He noticed that Haru tried to grab him, but Ralph was faster and before the opponent could react, he already had head slamed down in mat.

Ralph rolled him on the back and sat on his chest. Looking him down, he starts swining with arms toward his face, hoping to land at least few hits in opponent face.

As Haru was moaning and groaning on his chest, Ralph paws at him trying to turn him back over. Ralph then plants himself on Haru's chest and starts wailing on him, getting some good shots in the face. The hits seemed to re-energize him, or at least his boxing instinct. Haru brings his guard up to protect his face, and in turn getting punched in the arm or grazed in the side of the head.

Haru pops his knees up, throwing the lower half of his body weight up to nail Ralph in the back. He then drops his guard to grab Ralphs thighs and sit up, tipping Ralph over onto his back. With Haru sitting up and gripping Ralph's legs to himself, and with Ralph on his back, Haru went for an early and cocky pin.

"One~! Two~!" he grinned, speeding up the count on purpose. He knew that this pin wasn't going to work, but he was trying to show Ralph that he'd have to do better.

Ralph began swinging toward Haru face and it went pretty much as he expected. Initially he managed to hit him few times before his opponent managed to block any following attempts. But at the end he was more than satisfied with an outcome. He wasn't in rush and knew that gradually wearing him down was the way to go.

While swinging and punching his more or less protected face, Ralph received a hard knee hit in his back. He imidiately stop punching, and put one hand on his back. Hit was enough to distract Ralph to a degree, that Haru managed to topple him over. But Haru didn't follow with any attack - instead he went for quick pin and although he speed up the count, it wasn't enough yet to finish the fight. Ralph kicked out after a two count, rolled away and getting back on his feet.

Haru let Ralph go after the kick out at two, giving them both a bit of breathing room as he hauled himself back to his feet. He felt at his face and cheeks, noting a few fresh bruises due to the ground and pound and a cut on the inside of his cheek. Nothing he couldn't handle.

"Close call there, eh Ralph?" Haru laughed as he cracked his knuckles. Any spar that someone didn't bleed wasn't a good spar or you weren't trying hard enough in Haru's book. Rather than giving Ralph more time to speed around the ring, Haru goes on the offensive and shows off his own speed. He steps in close and goes to grapple Ralph's head, trying to push it down and pull it in against his waist for a side-headlock.
