Training with a surprise

Ivan was too slow again and Dave managed to dodge him again. Although it was bit irritating, he wasn't worried at all. Since he was quite bigger, Dave would have to land lot of attacks to do some serious damage. Dave kicking him in legs meant that he was closed to big guy. Ivan moved his torso around and swinged with arm, trying to hit Dave's head at the same time he received a kick.

Dave didn't see the big arm coming until it was too late. He couldn't dodge it in time, so he instead rode the blow, moving for it to hit his torso rather than his head, with Ivan's impact throwing him across the mat. Dave used his momentum to roll to his feet, but his chest stung from where the blow landed

Ivan smiled and turned toward Dave after landing the punch on his chest. That's how the fight worked; Dave could punching and running around how much he want - Ivan needed only one successfull hit to counter several opponent attacks. Ivan walked back toward the opponent, trying to grab his hair and follow with a punch in his face.

Dave tried to back up, but he was too slow, as he felt Ivan grab a fistful of his short hair and yank him forward to meet his fist. The blow sent him reeling into the corner, dazed from the hit. Dave shook his head, trying to clear the cobwebs from his brain so he could properly defend himself.

Seemed like first hit Ivan landed was enough to shook the Dave, since he cought him bit easier than before. No more annoying running around the ring and dodging his hits, allowing Ivan to land another punch on opponent face.

"You should have listen to me and get away when you had a chance." he said and grabed his wrist in order to irish whip him. When Dave would bounce from ropes, Ivan would raise his leg, trying to kick his face with a sole of his boot.

Dave let out a small groan again as Ivan yanked him to his feet, before irish whipping him into the ropes. His mind had cleared to the point where he could actually try to do something.

Using the ropes as a launch he propelled into the air, over Ivan's foot to deliver a brutal dropkick to the chest, with both of David's boot slamming into Ivan's chest.

Ivan whiped Dave toward the ropes and raised his leg to kick his face, but after doing that he didn't pay much attention to his surrounding. It was bit suspicious when nothing collided with his feet and it was suspicious for a reason. Ivan felt hard smack on his chest after Dave jumped and glided over his leg.

It was the first time in this match when the attack on him left some visible effect, since the last drop kick caused Ivan to stumble few steps backwards. Ivan rubed his chest afterward and wait for Dave to attack this time.

Dave rolled back to his feet, a bit relieved that the kick managed to have some effect on the giant of a man. He needed to swap up his plan of attack, as growing complacent with one specific style would make him too predictable, and even Ivan would be able to catch on to him.

Ivan seemed to be waiting for Dave to make a move, and Dave was cautious as he moved forward slowly, looking for an opening to exploit.

Ivan noticed that Dave was more carefull now, but big brute didn't want to rush either. He began slowly circling around smaller boy and keep waiting for his charge. So far Dave managed to more or less avoid his slow attacks, so waiting for attack and reverse was probably better thing to do now.

Dave darted in quickly slamming both fists into Ivan's jaw as if the giant's head was a volleyball, hoping to daze him enough for Dave to continue. More people were noticing the fight and a few began watching from their positions around the gym.
