Humble in victory, humble in defeat. That's what Dirk tried to be. He groaned and pulled himself up off the ring ropes and stand on his feet. He wanted to shake the girl's hands, but it seemed like she wanted to bask in her victory more. Dirk could only sigh and make his exit from the ring.
A ringside attendant gave him his belongings and Dirk would make his trek to the back. 3 times. He had lost 3 times to 3 different women. Truly, AFW was shaping up to be quite the experience.
Oh well. You win some, you lose some. Perhaps, the goddess of victory will smile upon Dirk next time? Especially against his soon-to-be match against a certain prince...
