Tension Elimination Chamber Match

Astolfo had managed to not only catch his opponent kick but also use it against her, send the female wrestler down to the ground. He had a few options now, he could attempt to push his advantage, trying to do more damage but he could also attempt to simply buy a bit of time and retreat, waiting for more wrestlers to show up. Taking a second to think about it all, the pink hair wrestler would move in, attempting to take advantage of the situation.

Yet just as he got close, he would be taken off his feet by the surprising sweep that his opponent did. Dang she was fast, was what ran through Astolfo mind as he was falling down to the ground. Quickly hitting the ground, the pink hair wrestler would attempt to push himself back up to his feet, trying to get back into a standing position quickly, hopefully before Felina could make a move on him.

Got her.

Felina couldn’t resist a short laugh of triumph as Astolfo - wow, what a weird name - went down, taken off guard by her sweep. It was irritating, sure, but she’d managed to gather some intel about him in the process of all this, so it wasn’t a real bust, now was it? She knew Astolfo was quick, not a waif, that she had decent reflexes. Best to play it safe with her. Safer.

So when she rose and came at her again, she did so with a long stride, trying to force Astolfo into a collar and elbow tie up. Not her usual style, no, but she had been trying to integrate more classic wrestling moves into her repertoire, and this was as good a time as any to bust them out. She had the weight and size advantage here, might as well use.

”Going somewhere?” She chuckled and gave Astolfo a strong push towards the nearest corner.

“Ouchie” stated Astolfo as he then got back to his feet, now ready to rumble with his opponent again. Though before he could make a move, he would find himself in a collar and elbow tie up with the bigger opponent, she did have the size advantage on him. He would soon find himself being pushed back. “Gah, seems like your the stronger on here but…”

The pink hair wrestler would then attempt to drop down to one knee, trying to use her own size against her, hoping to get her to overextend. Hopefully, he could manage to hold his own here, though that being said, he wasn’t sure what to do next after this, he had been so focused on not getting placed into the turnbuckle that he had not come up with a plan to do next. Though at this point he was not far from the turnbuckle, should he suffer an attack, he would probably find himself pinned against it.

...ouchie?

Did she say ‘ouchie’?

That was a first for Felina. She’d fought women and men around the world, on multiple continents, in just about every type of venue, and she’d never come across a single one who’d ever uttered the word ‘ouchie’. Wrestling continued to provide new and strange opportunities.

But not all that of an impressive one, at least not in this case. Felina was able to drive Astolfo back pretty far, and even though she had the wherewithal to drop and stop her forward push, she didn’t seem to have the gumption for anything else at the moment. Sucked for her, because Felina didn’t have similar problems.

”But…?” Before Astolfo could finish that sentence, Felina broke from the lock-up, took a short step back, and shot her leg straight out towards her opponent’s chest, looking to kick her the rest of the way into the turnbuckle, whether she wanted to go or not. Especially not.

Astoflo got down to one knee, now in a better position to hold his ground. Now he just needed to come up with a plan of attack and a clever line to finish what he was saying and… “Wah!” stated the pink hair wrestler as he almost lost his balance. “Ahh!” he stated as he waved his arms for a second, trying to reclaim his balance. Yet this would all be for naught as his opponent came charging at him and smack him with a kick.

The attack would send the pink hair wrestler back and right into the turnbuckle. “Gah!” yelped the pink hair wrestler as he was now leaning on the turnbuckle, each of his arms would grab onto the ropes. He would then shake his head for a second, trying to regain his senses so that he could get back into the match.

As Felina punted Astolfo into the corner, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of...disappointment? Regret? Sympathy? All three? Astolfo wasn’t in bad shape, but she was starting to have serious reservations about her ability in this match. Being put up against an easy opponent to start out should’ve been something she would like, knowing this was going far better than it would’ve with Dasher or Ryo, but she wasn’t crazy about carrying an opponent, either.

The crowd was starting to boo. The mood began to sour. Felina could push past, but still…

Looking to slow the pace down for a moment, Felina stepped in, raised her leg, and shot it out - not for a kick, but a choke. She planted her foot onto Astolfo’s neck and leaned in, grabbing the ropes for support as she kept the poor girl in the corner.

”Hey, sweetie?” She threw a quick whisper out. ”Hate to say it, but maybe this match isn’t for you…”

Shaking his head for a second, the pink hair wrestler would regain his senses but suddenly feel his opponent foot down on his neck, choking him out. “Gah!” yelled Astolfo as he would attempt to push Felina foot off his neck so he could get some oxygen into his lungs. Though his eyes would then go wide as he heard what his opponent had to say about him. He didn’t take Felina as someone who was mean or anything, unlike some other wrestlers he had met in the past. This would enrage him, as this meant this is what she probably thought. Using his two feet, he would attempt to kick Felina foot that was anchoring her to the ground, hoping to destroyer her balance and be released from the hold.

Felina really wasn't trying to be mean here. Really. She knew that it could look that way, and she could already hear some of Astolfo’s fans heckling at her for the treatment, and she knew the girl wouldn’t appreciate what she was saying and take it for slamming her…

...but, honest-to-God, Felina didn't want the poor thing to get hurt. While she was fine with winning matches, even dominating, she wasn't out to hurt anyone for real, and this was starting to feel like it could lean in that direction.

What she meant counted for little and less, though, because Astolfo seemed to take it in the harshest was, lashing out with more than a sliver of hate. Her legs struck home, tripped her once more and ended the hold, giving the lithe blonde her freedom.

Felina, for her part, went into a full retreat, rolling a few feet away and popping to her feet with her fists raised in a tight defense. She’d seen that look in Astolfo’s face, felt that rage. Offense was coming her way.

Astolfo kick seemed to do the trick, as his opponent lost her balance and he was freed from the hold. Grabbing onto the ropes, he would quickly get back to his feet before rubbing his neck a bit. The pink hair wrestler would then set his eyes on his opponent who had rolled away from him in order to put some distance between the two of them. Well, he wasn’t going to back down, he now had something to prove to her and everyone else.

Not wasting another moment, he would charge forward, attempting to go on the offensive for a change. His opponent was bigger and stronger than him, which meant he would have to rely on certain moves, like strikes or high flying moves. Charging right at her, he would make it seem like he was going for an attack but would instead attempt to jump over her and instead continue for the ropes and bounce off them before coming back at her. If things went according to plan, he would jump up into the air and attempt to hit his opponent with a dropkick.

So, Astolfo had a bit more fight in her than Felina had anticipated. She couldn’t make up her mind on whether that was impressive or irritating, but it was definitely something she was going to have to deal with. She could respect her, but there was no way she was going to come out the lesser in this exchange.

For the moment, thought, she was on the defensive, and Astolfo seemed to sense that, moving in before Felian could get to her feet all the way. She had to duck when her nimble foe leaped clean over her head, and by the time she figured out what her full intent was, it was too late.

Astolfo’s feet slammed into Felina’s chest like cannonfire, knocking her back and sent her rolling. She wound up stopping near Leah’s pod, flopping down hard on her back, and she had to take a deep breath to recoup before she could start to pull herself up.
